The system is great for the price, but you can only use the Coby remote. Universal remotes won’t also opperate the device.

The Coby DVD968 has done a wonderful job for picture quality as well as great sound. All the football games couldn’t have sounded nor looked better. Can’t wait to see performance during the Superbowl 44.

This is by far one of the best systems I’ve ever had…the sound is superb..the only issue is with the support…a technician was suppose to call me back and never did..I had to figure it out myself. The ease of installation was surprising. Excellent product.

There is only 1 – 2 channel audio input, no optical inputs for hooking up stuff like your xbox to get true surround sound
,
Note: I was trying to tune the radio to a local station just so when I switch from DVD to AUX and pass radio channel it wouldn’t be on static (I have no intent on using this for its radio), when manually browsing through the stations first off it takes forever and when I get to certain non station channels the speakers would go to static at full 100% volume even if muted.
Until I get the HDMI cables I ordered I opted to hook up the component cables took a bit to figure out you have to turn on the options in the menu to enable component video and you cannot do that unless u first connect the player via standard video cable.

I installed this system in my 5th wheel RV and it works (SO FAR) excellent. I play CD’s and DVD’s on it and also connected my Direct TV system as well as cable at various RV parks with no problem.
